AcmeLink_GW VRF protocol conversion, controls and compatibility
Review the multi-brand system concept, supported HVAC families, intelligent protocol conversion, wall interfaces, smart functions, panel designs, system specifications and wiring matrix.
Protocol conversion
Connect native VRF communication to standard automation
AcmeLink_GW handles the brand-side communication while RS485 provides a standard control route for the selected interface or automation system.
Brand-matched input
Native terminal names vary by system, including F1/F2, X/Y, P/Q, A/B, H/L and other brand-specific routes.
RS485 output
Designed for standard automation integration. Confirm the required Modbus register and control architecture during project matching.
Flexible interface
Can be paired with selected touch interfaces offering WiFi, Zigbee and Tuya options, or integrated into a compatible centralized controller.
Project configuration
Polarity, external-device requirement and centralized address behavior differ by HVAC system.
Supplied compatibility matrix
Representative supported brands
- Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Hitachi
- Toshiba, Panasonic, Hisense, Haier and LG
- York, Gree, Midea, TCL, Samsung and selected regional systems
This list is a project-screening reference only. Exact support depends on model, terminals, polarity and addressing requirements.
Confirm before sample
- Complete outdoor and indoor-unit model numbers
- Existing controller and system architecture
- Communication terminal names and clear wiring photo
- Required number of zones and centralized addresses

Why it is separate from S20
AcmeLink_GW is a gateway architecture, not simply a wall thermostat. It is the better route when the buyer needs Modbus/BMS integration or a separate protocol-conversion device.

AcmeLink_GW project questions
Is AcmeLink_GW a universal plug-and-play gateway?
No. The platform is configured for the selected HVAC protocol. Wiring, polarity, addressing and external-device requirements must be checked for each system.
Can AcmeLink_GW connect to a BMS?
Its RS485 output is intended for automation integration, but the required Modbus mapping and project architecture should be confirmed before quotation.
Does every installation need an external device?
No. The supplied matrix shows that the requirement varies by brand and system configuration.
