S20: readable interface selection reference

S20 is a wall thermostat with a selected brand protocol loaded through Bluetooth setup. Bluetooth protocol configuration is distinct from optional Tuya WiFi app control. Select the indoor-unit interface, firmware profile and panel before ordering.

The following 20 entries transcribe the supplied compatibility panels. “Listed as supported” describes the source matrix, not approval for every indoor unit from that brand. Every order still requires exact model and terminal confirmation. Terminal notation is retained from the source; it is not an instruction to bridge terminals or a substitute for a model-specific wiring diagram.

Before a sample is prepared

Send the indoor-unit model including suffix, controller model, terminal photograph, required LCD/TFT panel, finish and WiFi requirement. Request the corresponding power and wiring diagram, protocol-loading instructions and final packing list. Do not select a wiring route by wire count alone.

Reduce SKU complexity without guessing compatibility

The same controller platform can be configured for different supported HVAC protocols. Each order is still matched to the complete indoor-unit model and terminals.

2-wire routes

Supports applicable P1/P2 or X/Y communication used by selected Daikin, Hitachi, Toshiba, Panasonic, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hisense, Gree and York systems.

3-wire routes

Supports selected proprietary combinations used by applicable Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Midea and Haier models.

4-wire routes

Supports selected A1/B1/D-/D+ or related arrangements. Exact model verification is mandatory.

Tuya ecosystem

Optional WiFi supports Tuya Smart / Smart Life, scheduling, remote control and supported voice integrations.

Can the installer select a brand protocol on site?

Yes. S20 uses Bluetooth setup to load one selected supported brand profile. The correct profile and wiring must be confirmed before commissioning.

Does S20 support every model from the listed brands?

No. Compatibility is specific to the indoor-unit model and interface. ACMELEC must confirm the exact model and terminal route before ordering.

Is WiFi mandatory on S20?

No. WiFi is optional. The thermostat can be supplied for local control or with the selected smart-control configuration.
